Default Got a biggun!

I killed him thanksgiving evening! I was watching another smaller buck about 100 yards away, when i see out the corner of my eye a big bodied deer come out of the corner of the woods, (hunting on a large green field) and i get my scope on him and see hes a nice one, He starts walking along the tree lline towards me. I wait till he gets close enough for a comfortable shot. Finallllyyyy, hes perfect broadside, at about 180 yards, i squeeze the trigger and BOOM! Stupid me automatically thinks to reload so I didnt see what the deer did when i shot him, My hunting buddy whos the same age as me (15) saw him jump into some brush and thats all he saw. I was soo nervous when i was shooting lol, its my first time seeing a big deer like this, cause i hunt in north louisiana and i was hunting in texas! I start freaking out im like "ohmygosh what if i missed him?!?!" so we wait till dark, then we go down there with a flashlight, and turns out he was just lying in the brush 10 yards where i shot him, i was so relieved. So yeah a good thanksgiving (:
