That deer is the same size as our roe deer. No red stag in this part of Scotland. Only up in the Highlands.

They do taste amazing though.

I've shot one smaller, and im not afraid to admit it, shot it 2 weekends ago, still had some spots. Fawns are target practice for the big boys.

I've shot two that size as well. One field dressed at 40 lbs. .... the other was a little bigger. It's hard to judge sometimes when you are doing drives. But they were tasty.
Both mine were quick decisions on drives.

Wow... quality deer management means nothing to you does it.

Besides, this is the world's smallest deer. They're about the size of rabbits.

It's not for us to decide each others deer management, if it's legal it is legal. And those get a little bigger then rabbits. Avg. adult shoulder height of.....I THINK 15" or so inches. I may be wrong, just remembering science class three years ago haha

It was more just to be a jab in the side than anything.

15" is about right, but have you seen those giant rabbits they've been breeding in Germany?

There's more meat on them things than on some deer!
