monsanto's website only mentions roundup ready canola, corn, and soybeans... i believe monsanto axed the roundup ready wheat and i'm not sure when roundup ready alfalfa will be available to the public (it's been in the works for a few years).... i've not heard of any other roundup ready products being introduced in the immediate future, but maybe i'm not "in-the-loop"?

mycogen markets a seed and a respective herbicide. it's a clearfield sunflower seed that they sell, the chemical they sell for use on those seeds will kill just about anything except the sunflowers. clearfield is a similar term as RR. application rates for the chemical is something like 4-8 oz per acrs. mycogen sells it by the gallon.
Those lab scientists are always working on something, I have heard they are working on a RR turf mix, I hope not, that would mean in a few years that somegrasses would not be affected by Roundup, then it would lose it's purpose. It doesns't do anything for a couple weeds now, like horseweed, marestail...

Ron, they change the plant genetically to make it RR. They don't change the roundup.
I'm sure there are other products that will kill RR crops.
