Default Second Year Clover

Clover was sewed last year with rye as a cover crop and fall attractant. In early summer I mowed the rye and was left with clover. I am looking for suggestions for this or next year of what to add to the clover as a fall attractant.

Default RE: Second Year Clover

In Tennesee? At what time of the year do you get enough hard frosts for the clover to go dormant? In northern Wisconsin that's about second or third week of October. Til then it is green and very attractive to deer .... if not near any corn fields.
If you have some bare spots, throw in some rape. If the clover plot is lush and healthy, let it be, till the weeds/grass take over and you have to re plant it.
