Timothy Grass Hay
I see it in the Classified add for horse feed or something???
What is it? Will the deer eat it?Any good for them?
We dont have any feed stores around here that carry anything,so it's just been corn. This week I'll be picking up a truck load of sweet potatoes.

RE: Timothy Grass Hay
Timothy is a kind of hay - used often for horses or mixed with alfafa for cattle.
If it was advertised - its probably in bales - and the deer will not eat it. Even fresh and growing, deer do not much care for timothy.
Side note: timothy grass is named for Timothy Hanson, an English farmer who promoted its use for hay
