Finally, My Own Spot

Purchased 70 acres in Putnam Co WV last fall that had a few deer. Power line right of way thru it. No nutrition. Thanks to all for what I have been able to learn here and it appears all is paying off. Started with @ 2 acres of overgrown 10ft tall power line and my gas brush hog. Had a dozer in to help for a day. Now have about 2 acres clover chicory mix and an almost an acre of soybeans. Also have 3 hunting plots @ half acre each cleared for plots later this month. Now own a JD 1025, 48 inch tiller, landscape rake and 350 lb pto spreader. Im having a blast. Good luck to all.

Congrats on the land and good luck this coming season. I know instant gratification is nice when many get their first property but with good land and a plan you can certainly manage for long term goals. All the best to you.
