I set my rocks on normal deer trail on top of a few logs. The deer will find them. One is set on a cement block. Both have trail cams.
One set up is on a trail that runs next to a good clearing. Other is in the deep swamp.

I put mine in the hardwoods preferably on a level piece of ground, some are near a water source and a few are in the woods where's there's cover for the Deer so they feel safe.I put a few within eye sight of my ladder stands and I usually put up a trail camera to see what Deer is using them and when.I also put out some minerals for the Deer or a plain white salt block too.....I like the Trophy Rock because it looks natural and is hard to see in the Woods un-like a big Ol 50lb salt block.
