Default what to plant???

I hunt in Alabama on 90 acres I was wondering what to plant ? I was thinking of planting peas, turnips,or use throw and grow. Because the plot is very remote.

How big is your plot area? In the summer you can plant Lab Lab, Iron Clay Peas maybe mixed with a little corn or sorghum for it to run up on. In the fall it is hard to beat Buck Forage Oats mixed 60/40 with some wheat and then overseed with Yucci Arrowleaf Clover. Biggest problem I have is that the deer keep it eat down, especially this year. Getting a soil test ASAP and getting the lime out soon is very important.
