Default making a food plot for west texas

well what do yall suggest that i use for seeds lime fertilizer and stuff like that?its a very small bowhunting plot just about 10 yds by 15yds

the hard thing is that there is very little rain!!!!

How far west?

You shouldn't need any lime in the western half of the state.

You would probably be a lot better off spending your money trying to improve the native vegetation. High temperatures and modest rainfall will make it hard to grow most of the commercially available plot mixes. Results will be hit or miss, with more misses than hits. You would probably be a lot better off in the long run focusing on improving the native habitat. If you have some areas the deer are coming in to browse, a little fertilizer there never hurt.

oh no mybad i didnt read that answer rite but so ur sayin that i should see if i can fertilize the native plants and trees like acorns and but i dont kno what the deer eat like plant wize
