Was watching a line when a couple of does left the area so I deceided to try a rattle sequence.Didn't know it at the time but my buddy(300yds away) had been watching this buck for like a half hour but couln'd get a shot off.When I rattled my buddy said he just beelined it right for me.A big doe came out looking for a new boyfriend I guess ,she stopped on the line and gave a hard look behind her.Just knew there was a buck coming up behind her.When he got half way across I got the scope up and saw a glint on the side of his head,knew he was fairly wide and should be ok to shoot.(was signed up with buddy,party hunt)After the shot he dissappeared,I stood up and there was a heap on the ground,shot him in the spine and dropped right there.Wasn't sure what he was like and when I got closer I put the scope on him and freaked..he was way more then just ok......buddy was glad one of us got him.
