Is cigarette smoke NOT bad for hunting or something?
Now before I'm lynhed for this topic hear me out. I've never smoked in my blind, but my dad has always said "it doesn't scare them, just makes them curious. Always sounded to me like an excuse just to light up in the blind. My grandfather whom hasn't improved his hunting knowledge since like 1980 bagged a GREAT 11 point while he was smoking a cigarette and had gotten many deer over his chain-smoker like years. hejust looked at me like I was an idiot cus I told him he shouldn't smoke while hes out there.
Now this may seem like a ridiculous quesion...but if I'm in the woods and need a smoke should I fight the cravings? or are these just weird cases where the deer really didn't mind?

Not sure if there is any research about smoking and killing deer, but there is a lot of research about smoking killing hunters............
