8pointer bags 10 pt buck

was out hunting day and saw a 8pt buck with a bloody g2 this morning. a little later in the day a 10 point buck comes limping through with a bloody hind quarter and plops down on a trail 200 yards away. at the end of the day, i go check on where i saw the buck lay down and there it is dead with a whole in its rear leg/gut area and it wasnt from a gunshot. anyone else ever seen something like this?

I didn't witness the fight but a hunter stopped at the check station I was working at two weeks ago and described a fight between a 6 pointer and an 8 pointer. The 8 pointer was killed on the spot. The hunter contacted the GW for that county and the circumstances were confirmed and the guy that reported it got to keep the 8 pointer. He had only 2 rather small holes on the outside but the internal injuries included ruptured liver, lung damage and damage to the intestines.

Cool... It's always nice to have another Rack... and some extra Meat. Never seen anything happen like that, but have heard of these things happening. But most never get to witness it first hand. [8D]
