deer feet

Anybody ever make a deer foot gunrack? Is there any way besides skinning them? I herd of people just bending them and leaving them for a couple weeks? How long will they last if i do it this way?

i made mine buy covering them in salt for about 3 months maybe too long but oh well .i took string and tied them to the shape i like too keep them in .....i cut holes in a bord and put a screw in the back of them to hold them in place .a friend told me too try useing dry wall anchers to mount them flat on a bord . i have 2 set's to mount this year

Anybody know how long thell last if you dont skin them and tan them and just put salt on them cause thats what im doing and was wondering?
