Deer Cain Attractant?

Has anyone used any of the deer attractants, Deer Cain specifically? How well do they work? Any suggestions?

I've used this in the paast just to see how well in worked and in a matter of days the area I placed it at was all tore up.

I used it a long time ago with small results. This year I have been using C mere-Deer and the deer LOVE it.
