This Ever Happen To You ?

You pretty much know what to do deer hunting.

But when you get in the woods your mind goes Blank.

Its like Duh I forgot every thing.

And when you get home from the woods it all comes back.

So has this ever happened to you or am I just weird ??

happens when i take a test at school....i can study and know everything....then i get it and look at it and saw crap i know this but cant write it down.....but deer hunting?? i spend all year scouting....come hunting season all i gota do is walk into my spot quietly...nothing to remember....not too comlicated.....then when they come by pick one i want to shoot.....put the crosshairs where i want them and squeeze off.....tag and gut my deer and drag it back to the truck........dont see how you can black out and forget what to do???that would be a good line for poachers....everytime i go hunting i black out and dont remember waht to do!!!! honestly!!

Your not wierd it is called experience. In time with experience, knowledge, success & defeat it will come more automatic in your head. Their isn't a hunter here or anywhere that won't freely admit they have made or will continue to make mistakes, the learning never stops when it comes to hunting.
