2nd Chances

I cant believe I got a 2nd chance at this deer. I saw him opening day under my feeder and missed.[:@]It was right at dark and I didnt have enough light. It was a clean miss thank goodness. And then I saw him yesterday morning about 10 oclock crossing the road that runs in front of my stand. He was about 350 yrds away and crossing fast. I didnt have much time to think of shot placement so I just took the only shot I had at the time. Hit him at the top of his back, Dropping him in his tracks. He is a nine pt. One of his tines was broken from fighting so I am hopeing that there is a bigger one out there too. Our rut is just starting here so maybe the action will pick up. He isnt the biggest I have killed but he will do for starters.
