Default Mule deer

Just wondering if someone can tell me if a Mule deer sheds its rack?

All ungulates shed their antlers so a mule deer most definately sheds their antlers. I have found several.

Ungulates: All members of the deer family: Whitetail, mule, blacktail, and coues deer; elk, moose, caribou and many, many more.

Antlers are shed, horns keep with the animal. Deer have antlers, sheep have horns etc.

So what would an antelope be considered. It sheds the outer sheath from its horns every year?

Antelope are the one exception--the have horns even though the outer parts are shed--I watch a lot of discovery channel
