Default muzzleloader hunt

I have only posted a few times on here but I read the boards faithfully and I have found a lot of knowledgeable people who post here. So now I have a question. I am thinking about purchasing a muzzleloader for next year's season but I know absolutely nothing about muzzleloader hunting. Any pointers or advice?

BP is my favorite way to hunt. I dont post much on it but if your ask this same question in the black powder forum there are lots of knowledgable guys in there specifically Cayugad and a few others. I would go with an inexpensive .50 cal inline I like Knight rifles alot. make sure if you scope it that the same rule applies to ML scopes, buy as much glass as you can afford. Your're capable of some long range shooting with the new BP and newer bullets. have fun and make some smoke.

I love hunting with my muzzleloader also. I shoot a CVA Hunterbolt Mag in .50cal and love it. Check your local regulations on scopes, I cant use a scope on a Muzzleloader here. Good luck and have fun!

Thanks everyone for the advice.
I guess I should read the list of forums every once in a while. I didn't realize that there was a blackpowder forum.
