I am able to quarter a deer, put it in a plactic tub and put it in my refridgerator. I have a standerd size fridge. I just take a shelve out. Keeps great in there.

Depending on size of Deer you can stuff it with 2-3 bags of ice. That will keep cool all day if not in direct sun.

I do agree with AJ52. 54 degrees with ice in the shade will be fine during the day.

Hang it inside your garage with the doors closed with a stick spreading the chest cavity open.

An old man told me one time what you do is,

Field dress it and put a bag of ice in the cavity,

Then put it in the shade if its only going to be just a few hrs.

But to skin and butcher it as soon as posable.

Good Luck
