Where should I hunt during gun season?
I hunt this woods its about 200 acres. I made a treestand on the side of a hill that it about 30 yards away from a pond down to the left. About 60 yards infront of me there is a small creek that leads into the pond. And past that creek there is a small hill that leads up to a guys property that will be hunted hard during gun. Behind my stand that is a small group of pine trees. There are decent trails all around my stand. I have hunted there 3 times and have seen deer everytime, out of bow range. Another guy has hunted close to my stand and has seen many many deer too. Another spot I am thinking about hunting is about 200 yards straight back from my stand off a 4-wheeler trail, on top of a big boulder. Again every time I have hunted there I have seen deer... out of bow range. there is many trails around there too. I am thinking about hunting my treestand. I know this isnt too much info but where you hunt if you were me?
