RE: Scent wicks quick fix?
I'll second tampon and the used variety , [:'(]
both work well . The unused type will hold amazing amounts of scent depending on their rating . The best part is that the cheapest ones are always the right choice , they don't have to do anything but absorb liquid . They are also odorless themselves , and come with their own limb tie cord .
Rags from clothing can work too , wash the garments in a scent free detergent before cutting them up . Make a drag cord for them with cotton twine . Cotton cordage that's 1/4"-1/2" can also function as scent wicks , and will easily hold a day's worth of scent . The same cordage braided into a miniature "cat 'o nine tails" can be a good scent drag and will last a good while .
