All Day in a ladder stand?

I live in stevens point wisconsin.. we hunt on part of my uncles and part of a neighbor ladies land.. they do not allow permanent stands. we have just like a platform for feet and a seat.. no walls or anything. would it be smart to stay all day in a stand like this? it usually gets past my breaking point of uncomfortability around 5 6 hrs
Would it be worth stayin a whole day ?

well during the rut i dont think it would hurt anything to sit it out.as far as the question about the stand i dont see that it matters any what kinda stand your in as far as to how long to stay.

Why don't you invest in a good comfortable climber like the Summit Viper XL. Easy to move locations and much more comfortable. Then again, I don't sit all day anyway.
