We were hunting in Jefferson SC on OCT 15.

We were hunting out of our tower stand over looking a bean field.
Just before dark Courtney told me that she sees a nice buck to her right in the beans.
After what felt like forever the deer turned broadside at 120 yds.
Courtney shot the deer with one shot with her Thompson Center Encore 243.
She made such a good shot that we did not have to track the deer at all.
This was her first day to carry a rifle in the woods for deer.
