Not to a deer .
Just let it weather , or give it a coat or two of sealant and hunt it later . The deer will eventually get used to seeing it .

The deer will get used to anything if it is around long enough. I don't think the deer would pay it any attention after a couple of days. I would paint it battleship gray. I have read that battleship gray is the hardest color for deer to see, because it is not a natural color.
