worst hunting trip ever
first of all, I took a guy that works for me, who had said several times he wanted to go hunting . where I hunt is really ruggged terrain, steep and nasty. as soon as I stopped the truck, we took a little hike to see what we could find. I was walking down an old road, he cut across the mountain. I told him he should stick to the roads since he didnt know the area, and it can be unforgiving with snow about 10" deep, and very cold. well, he got lost, so I spent the rest of the evening and half the night trying to find him. while trying to find him, my upper ball joint broke off 17 miles from any town. I drove my truck 9 miles on a broken ball joint before I found some help. screwed up my back, can hardly walk as of right now, with one week of season left. so, it looks as if Im done for the year.
