I was out scouting I found a few rubs and scraps. Isnt this to early for them.

a lot of deer around my area are shedding and i have found some good rubs and scrapes in the last couple of day

so i guess it is about that time again

maybe for scrapes...but I've seen plenty of rubs already simply to get rid of the velvet though. JDinAB

Never too early........bucks are always looking for does to come into heat, that is one of the reasons they shed there velvet, they are gettiing ready for the breeding season..........The correct remark would be too early to hunt the scrapes!

saw my first scrape the other day..they have been rubbin'.....it's so wet here...i was lucky to find the scrape i did, i knew it was there, well, i knew it was there last year and it's active again this year as of the other day....

Found our first scrapes this past Sunday while setting out a CamTrakker. Haven't seen much for rubs, but I'm sure they're out there.

IN GA Rubs always appear around the first of Sept. Scrapes generally start showing up right about now.
