I am thinking of buying the Thompson Center Omega in-line 50 cal 209 primer. Does anyone own this gun and if so is it as good as advertised?

You cant beet the thompson center line of muzzleloaders. Ive got an Encore,, but have looked at the Omega and it is as good as the Encore,, I just prefer the Encore because of the intershangable barrels.. I think youd love the Omega.

I bought 3 different guns before I bought mine, all the other cheap ones were not acurate or as bush would say "acrate".

I have an older Knight model # BK92 I love this smokepole...Last Year I was itching for a new one I looked at the Omega, and the Black Diamond both made by T/C. The only thing I didn't like about both of these guns was the weight when compared to my knight, other then that T/C makes one hell of a smokepole, but I will stick with another Knight, what model, well I have to make a choice.
