180 3/8" TYPICAL 15 POINT PENNSYLVANIA BUCK!!!
Hey guys,
I went down to my bow shop last week and saw a picture there of the "big buck" that has been a legend running around in my county. This buck is just crazy big. He is a typical 15 point, 8X7 with 180-3/8". Just think what he would be if he would have had that other point. I don't know all the stats on this buck, I just know that he has 14" G-2's and most of his other tines appear to be over the 10" mark.
Next week I will be going back down to the shop and I will see if I can get the pic to scan and show you guys. He was shot with a rifle in Indiana County. I havn't heard if he is going to be entered into any books or not.

Buck Magnet, there's no doubt Pennsylvania holds some great deer. And will probably get even better in the future especially in those regions designated as "4 point areas". Indiana county is known for producing great bucks and could very well be the best choice in the region for nice bucks the next 2 or 3 seasons. One of the better public lands is the new sections of State Game Lands 262 that lie north of the original game lands. It's an area of reclaimed strip mines as you probably are aware but you won't find it marked on any map..you'll just have to rely on the signs to get you to where you want to go. Great habitat diversity with hemlock trees in the valley bottoms, and just loaded with grape vines on the hillsides. Hope you're able to get that pic. Love to see it. Good hunting.

Wow I have been looking to see if there was any pics of a huge 15-Pointer shot opening day in Monroe County! I work for Eastern Pennsylvania Supply Company & one of the contractors that do business with us shot a 15-Pontier that he had green scored at 160"! He brought the pics in for us to see. Awesome looking deer!!! There are more big boys out there as of the last 2 years that I have seen & got on video where I hunt in Monroe County.

NJ-Mike the one that was shot opening day that went 160" was shot in Saylorsburg area I believe. The big ones I got on video are from the Delaware Water Gap area near the Water Gap Country Club (Golf Course). State Game lands Borders the area. I hunt the game lands there but never seen them on the game lands just on private land that borders the game lands!
