Whats the difference in a sabot slug and a rifled slug and recoil Difference?

the sabot is for use with a rifled barrel or with a rifled choke. the rifled slug is for use with a smooth barrel. the recoil should be the same

the sabot is a smaller projectile incased in a 2 pc. plastic shell which falls away on exit from the barrel. the only real difference in recoil is that between reg. 23/4" shells and 3" magnum loads. Tony
