Fawns are dropping in western N.Y.

I've been seeing a bunch lately here in MN as well. I'm planning on hitting a few of my favorite long range observing spots over the next few days with a spotting scope and see what the fields look like towards dark. The clovers and other greens are really growing nice in most of the fields around here, so it could be good.

I haven't seen any yet, but the neighbor saw a freshly dropped fawn 2 days ago. He said the Mom was licking it and was startled by him, she ran off and the baby dropped and didn't move an inch lol.
