Nice buck. I've been reading the post because of the very same issue--scrunchy leaves.


If you're willing, I'd like to see some pics of that rifle. Looks like a purty one for sure.

I remember those models in the .350 Rem. Magnum. They were said to have a lot of recoil. Being a shotgunner, most U.S. big game rifles recoil don't impress me.
Those models were before their time. Be proud. That's a unique rifle.

HA!! GS I bet I got a couple rifles that will MORE than "impress" you. Granted they aint "US" rifles but you will walk away thinking your shotty is a little tiny newborn kitten in comparison 2 things you never want to hear in the description of a .500NE you are about to shoot 1: It's LIGHT 2: Hot load!!

I have "trigger that .500 T-Rex" dreams. Would love to do it!
Not saying they aren't out there. I honestly would like to find them on a personal basis.
