Just gotta get the coons and hogs outta my deer feeder and that should be it for now. Gonna wait a few more weeks to make sure my scopes are set right. Might need some new winter gear and wanna get a camera for my gun, but that might be the last thing I do.

Deer season is a ways off for me still. A little elk hunting first.

Tomorrow is opening day of archery season in Indiana. I will be off to my stand tomorrow evening after work. I have received two invitations by co-workers to hunt on their properties. Haven't had a chance to scout them out so I will probably try them out during the firearm and muzzleloader seasons and try some still hunting.

Saturday is opener in PA. Got my stand picked out and shooting lanes trimmed. Had two whopper bucks in the relative area in the summer. Haven't got a picture of either near my stand since velvet came off. They are in nearby fields at night so hopefully they still use the area. We'll see.

Antlerless opens tomorrow. I'm ready but mother nature is not. The forecast is for a high of 55 with heavy rain and high winds. Saturday should be drier, but just as windy.
