How many pounds of attractant are you getting for $10. I go to a feed and grain store and get 50 pounds of feed for $6-$15 depending on the type of feed.

Talking

Grain Elevator is the ticket. Also grocery store
100# Stock Salt
50# Trace Mineral
50# Di Cal
Box of A&H Washing Soap

Dig hole 6 inches pretty good size around. Pour Salt, Trace Mineral and Di Cal in, cover with A&H Washing Soap, cover with layer of dirt, pour water over. Redo in 6 months then once a year.

They will make a hole eating the dirt too.

Al

I can tell you what seems to work well that costs nothing - dig up the dirt. Seems like every time I turn over the ground that fresh dirt smell draws in deer. And I think as the rut approaches it can effectively draw in bucks.

If you are planning to continue using attractant, I would recommend finding a grain elevator or feed & grain store. You can get many times the weight you are getting for the price. It is too economical to pass up. You could pay around $25 for 100 pounds of quality deer feed or pay $167 for 100 pounds of what you are buying at Wal-mart. You could buy a trail camera to observe the deer the frequent your attractant for what you could save.
