treestand set up

I setup a treestand that needs a little tweaking because of a weird angle tree. I want to add a extra ratchet strap for safety and a lock. is going to the site two days in a row going to scare off the deer? I wear hip waders, spray my self, equipment and try not to make too much of a disturbance.
Thanks

No go and set it up the way you want. No need in hunting out of a stand you are not comfortable with the set up

Not sure when your season starts but I think that you should be fine. I've put a few cameras up next to stands that I just put to see when the deer start coming back. I usually get does within a few days and mature bucks will show up within a couple weeks. I'd get in there, make sure its safe and you are confident with your set up. Good Luck!

The deer will be back to normal within a week or so and you'll feel better about your stand if you go in now and get it straightened out.

less than that if you have lots of deer...I shot a doe and had deer back on the feeder within 15minutes after we cleared out of the area as verified by game cam...

"drop" some apples and corn around and they wont even give a crap you were there....its not baiting it was an accident you dropped them ;) haha but seriously it doesn't hurt anything to drop some apples just don't do it during hunting season if its not allowed in your state...

I've had to adjust my stands all season long.It never seems to bother the deer.

they might disappear for a day or a night or something but theres always noise in woods its not like your in there with a chainsaw everyday. you should be ok. just like anything with deer hunting just do what you can to make it quiet and just get in and out. no biggie.

I usually double strap my ladder stands also and hang on stands too....it just feels a lot safer to have that extra strap securing the stand to a tree.If You go in cautiously and fix Your stand it shouldn't hurt anything and the Deer will be back to their normal routine in no time!
