Default Illinois Shed Hunt Trip

Left VT Wed afternoon for a roadtrip to Illinois for some shed hunting. Picked up 14 total plus 2 skulls. Biggest one measured 78 4/8". Also saw 5 bucks still carrying both sides and 2 with one side.

That's some pretty nice bone you got in the back of that truck. Should be some really nice bucks roaming there this fall.

Yeh, looking forward to this fall. We had lots of quality bucks on our cameras from this past fall, and as far as I can tell, only picked up one of those sheds! Hated to find the dead bucks, but that happens I suppose.

Have you done any shed hunting this year? Can't get any better for monster whitetails than the Trophy Triangle!
