.243 with Winchester 100gr powerpoints, CX2 I think is what they are called... They have worked like a charm so far.

.280 with 139gr Hornady BTSP handloads. Its the all around perfect gun for me. Fast, accurate, and powerful.

My new rifle this year will be a Savage Classic 114 in 7mm rem mag (150 grain Core-Lokt). My backup is my old reliable 270 (130grain Win. Power Point). Curious to see what the difference in power will be. 270 has served me well.

.280 Remington w/ 140g Winchester Balistic Silvertips. Best mid weight round there is. Been shooting it for 18yrs.

and if all you .270 guys would spend some time with this round, you would never pick up a 270 again.

Ruger M77 MKII
7mm Rem Mag.
150gr. Rem Cor-Lokt.

This has done the trick for me for several years now.

like i sad my dad has a 7mm rem mag, such a bad ass round. lol. hurts so bad to shoot more than 15, hes got no recoil pad on his ruger, but boy is it smooth! also my dad dropped a antelope at 400 yards with one shot from it so i think it will serve you fantastically!
