Default Budget Buck

So I am sitting here at work trying to find things to keep me busy. Naturally I gravitate towards shopping on Cabela's website. I was looking at their taxidermy section looking for European skull kits and I came across, what I consider, one of the strangest things. What do you think? It just doesn't compare to the real thing. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Hunting/After-the-Shot/Taxidermy|/pc/104791680/c/104689980/sc/104626080/Budget-Buck-White-Tail-Deer-Mount/1096919.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse.cmd%3F N%3D1100186

I'd keep the horns on the skull and find some beetles....

probably cheaper and easier to do your own european mount that way...

It looks pretty bad to me. If you don't have enough for a real shoulder mount, do a Euro. They look a heck of alot better than that thing.

Yeah that's bad.Taxiderny is an art. It really is, instaed of pictures I like mounts that make the room Come alive.Let the Chineese have that crap.Mind you I tried doing the Chineese eyes and it looked worse.Don't stoop to their level and purchase their crap like that all that will happen is that goddamn country will export more, cause some Joe Blow decided it was worth having. The Less worthless Chineese junk we buy, the better off we are in the long run.Yeah I'm assuming it Chineese, cause No North American would do something this god awful and try and make a buck.

Thats embarrassing to taxidermists everywhere lol. Do a Euro Mount, or just a skull cap on a nice piece of wood. That looks like a rubber deer hanging on the wall. And it's $200. YOu could get a real mount done for $400 at some places.
