Default big buck

A friend of mine has 80, 10 miles from my 80. I drove over there with spotlight has 40 of alfalfa I drove back there wow I seen biggest buck of my life. Talking 200 plus scoring 15 plus points. Top of that 3 nice 8 10 point bucks.

Seen 20 30 plus deer in the field.

I was wondering what would be best way to catch a nice buck I won't be putting a stand up. Would I be fine sitting next to a tree off the field a little bit.

Will deer see me and smell me

Good luck! There's a reason they've gotten that big, and there's also a reason you only saw them with a spotlight...

Me and a buddy went out with a spotlight one night driving around backroads looking for deer. We left the guns at home, mainly so we wouldn't get in trouble if we were caught but also to resist the temptation if we saw a big one haha. I bet we drove around for 4 hours looking at deer and saw some real monsters. I'm talking a couple 160-170+ class bucks standing right out in the middle of fields. Come morning time though, they are nowhere to be found. Like I said, there is a reason they have gotten that big... And it's not cuz they were grazing fields in the daylight.

exactly maddog, where i hunt there is a few really nice bucks and i mean nice, but we never see them during daylight hours. the deer are always out at night though, but these deer are grey in the face and have big, massive racks, and there is a reason for that, they arent that stupid. gun season opens here tomorrow, hope i see one slip up chasing a doe
