a rut question

how long does the rut usually last, i no its diffrent from area to area but on average how long will it last, the deer were in full swing rut last week and chasing hard, and i believe they were in pre-rut to the very begining of the rut 2 weeks ago so how much longer will it last

Around here( northern vermont) the rut will last a week to 10 days with 2 weeks being the max. The deer are just starting to rut and our rifle season starts on saturday.

yea our rife starts saturday(nov 13th) and the rut seems the have fully started last weekend, so i think w will still be in the rut this weekend, im hoping atleast
