Son's first buck!!

YAY! My 11 YO bagged his first buck. It's nothing great... 115# cull spike. But he got it with my 30-30 at 130 yards, one shot, and that to ME is GREAT! We were using Hornady LeveRevolution 150 grain. The bullet broke both shoulders but there was no blood trail. We guessed the direction and found it about 20 yards into the woods. We got lucky. Not sure I like the Hornady bullets.

great job my first deer was a 125lbs spike at 30 yards with a bow its always great to see a child get their first deer
