make sure you have cleaned out the brain cavity really well this is where most of your smell will come from.

Check and make sure you got all the black stuff from the nasal cavities.

My buddy did his with a fake plastic one he got on line and it looks great. He had to saw off the antlers below the base and then drill a small hole in the bottom and used a lag to attach to the plastic base. Looks real.

[QUOTE=silverskin;3717412]NO DO NOT SOAK IN BLEACH!!!!! Soaking in bleach will destroy the skull. The bleach will eat right through anything it comes in contact with. Never use bleach on a european mount.

Yeah don't use bleach there is a reason, there is a corrosive symbol labeled right on the bottle.

Simmer it with some soap or borax for awhile and clean it again; a 3% peroxide soak for a couple days will take care of the stink for sure.

Those are the only two heads I could find pics of but trust me, it works!

Thanks for the information guys!!! Seems like a dozen and a half ways to tackle the problem. I let tissue rot off under ground a month

Not able to take orders at this time. I have a table at the blade show each year in Atlanta. If you want me to let you know what I have left over I have a list. Email me at [email protected] for any more questions
