Default Would you move

I got in my stand early to beat others. Well a boat came in off the river and guys set up behind me about 200 yards. Right at first light he shot a deer that sounded like it went down about 50 yards from me. He came up to my stand asking if I saw it. Anyway, a buddy of mine who has hunted this area for about 15 years told me to move up towards the ridges and bedding areas. He said bucks will be chasing does out of the bedding areas throughout the day.

Well if your buddy has hunted that specific area for FIFTEEN YEARS I would listen to him rather than ask anyone on here because no one hear has probobly hunted the area at all. We don't know where it is other than between some river somewhere and some ridges.
