Default Do deer eat peanuts?

I have a big bag of peanuts in the shell. I've had a few but am sick of them If I dumped them on the ground, would deer eat them?

Does a horse piss where she pleases?

Only problem with that is the mice and other rodents would most likely beat the deer to it.

You boys need to get out and farm a bit...We sell our peanuts to Planters Peanuts...Everything eats peanuts, deer, bears, turkeys, ducks, crows and coons...Deer not only eat the nuts, they eat the vines and leaves as well...Peanut vines have as much protein as alfalfa...

A bear can really tear up a peanut field, they sit on their butt and dig the vines and nuts up with their claws and have a feast...Then they scoot forward and do it again...

Did I mention they are roasted and salted? Not exactly natural. And we live in the north where peanuts do not grow.

I put them in my yard where we don't hunt. Just for trail camera purposes. We'll see if the deer eat them. They might have to get use to them first.

I think a deer would prefer raw peanuts to corn or soybeans.

I dumped the whole bag in my yard and it was gone in one day. I wouldn't think squirrels could work that fast. Who knows. Maybe they can.
