Default Steel Knife Blade Cleaning

What is the best way to get rust off a steel knife blade? I have a nice old Camillus that I want to clean up so I can use it. Any help appreciated!

Try oil and steel wool, first applying the oil then using different grades of steel wool starting with the coarsest first. If that doesn't dent it I would try naval jelly.

Scotch Brite pad with Kroil. Once all of the rust if off polish with 4X steel wool and oil. Make sure you have some latex gloves.
