Hunters,

Didn't see an "Introduce Yourself" area on this site so I've started this thread instead. Glad to be here and Best Regards to ALL!!

I'm a life long hunter living in Houston. 55 and retired once but got bored with sitting on my duff at the house and, mistakenly so it turns out, went back to work. Sure wished I'd just started another hobby instead!

This year marks the 2nd year I've hunted with a bow. Let loose 1 arrow this season but missed. At least it wasn't due to poor shot placement; the buck ducked about 18" under the arrow! Shortly thereafter I took the "smoke pole" and tacked my first Axis. WOW is all I have to say about Axis meat!

Looking for a lease for the 2010 season. Ethical, willing to help out whenever possible, and ALWAYS leave things better than I found them. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful.

Hope to meet some of you around the camp sometime. First backstrap (and beer if you're so inclined) is on me!

Welcome Brian, sounds like you're a cool guy. I'm on the other side of the country.

You live in some beautiful country, mbieniek. Lived in Hampton, Va for several years and N.C. as well. Gotta love the BRP!

Welcome to the board. Lots of good folks, and a couple of nuts, on this and the other forums. Sounds like you might enjoy the muzzy, bow and off season boards. Just join in.
