Default Another found dead deer on our property

I was out earlier hunting and trying to get back to the house because rain was poring down on me..I walked through a small patch of timber and stumbled across a BIG bodied but small horned 8 point he was dead I twisted his head until it broke off the neck he is ok I would kill him but that isnt saying a hole lot.

I'll post pictures when the rain subsides.

This is the second dead 8 point I have found this year

So what's up with that picture....fishing poles, steel trap, and a base ball bat? Just curious, not things you see in a deer photo every day.

Do you get any of the deer diseases there like blue tongue? That one is caused by midge bites on dry years and they often die within a couple of weeks near water.
