Default Crossbow Buck!!

I will never forget when this buck appeared looking for a fight! He scared the @#$% out of me! I have yet to see another buck with as thick a neck as this.
The Taxidermist said it was a 22inch neck! I'm not sure how he took the measurement though?

Nice buck!

Here's one with a 28" neck, measured just under the jaw bone.

Paintball I'm am POSITIVE there are big deer where you are at. Maybe next year I can help you find them. This spot has been sold. I do know the neighbors, I helped build a barn, so I still have a spot in that particular area. I think the best way to locate big bucks is during bow season, speed scouting, finding rubs and making mock scrapes. But try not to get stuck in one spot in case you get skunked and need to relocate.

Yes, Northern Va., close to where I was born and raised. So it is a really big buck for me, and I won the biggest bow kill buck at my butchers place. Even though it was crossbow. There is a lot of agriculture in the area too.
