Default Opening day success!

The first part of our bow season closed this past weekend and the slug season opened. Time to take out some frustration from a rough bow season for me. Anyway, got in the stand early saturday morning and this nice 9 point with a broken G2 showed up out of nowhere about an hour after light. He was headed across an open field toward a food plot. He stopped and gave me a clean shot at about 60 yards. He ran about 100 yards and piled up after the shot. I was really excited! All in all we had good success. My wife killed 4 does and my dad shot 3! This is the only one I got. Well worth it though!
