World Record Whitetail? When and Where?
When will the Typical whitetail world record be broken, and where will it come from? And the non typical? And how will it be harvested? bow? slug/shotgun? muzzleloader? rifle?
The typical is 213 5/8 from Saskatchewan in 1993
The non typ is 333 7/8 out of St.Louis, Missouri though was "picked up"
next is 328 2/8 from Ohio in 1940
biggest hunted/killed is 307 5/8 from Iowa in 2003
*according to boone n crockett.

I think it will be any time in the next few yrs. I had a chance and blew it, he took me by surprise, and when afew hunters seen it besides myself, we know he is big. It is typ and huge. I seen it afew times on my place but he is mostly nocturnal. 2nd time I seen him it was dark and couldnt shoot. Maybe this yr before he goes down hill on rack growth.

Hale, Missouri United states, I'm not sure if they will net it, but def gross. I have them on video. Very smart critters. South Iowa around Leon, could be a cleaner one.

There was one shot last year that easily beat Milo Hanson's buck. However, when B&C did their final scoring, they ruled that the G2s and G3s (I think) were not separate tines. The deer went from a 230" class 7X7 to a 6X6 with two 12" abnormal tines. It bumped it down, I think, just south of 200".
The Brian Damery buck from Illinois (1993) grossed somewhere in the 230"s trypical but had too many abnormal points and ended up somewhere around 200". I'm thinking any mid-western state or could be Canada again. Who knows. Anywhere where a deer with good genetics gets about 6+ years on him with good nutrition has the potential.

Iowa, kansas, indiana, Illinois? going by the sheer numbers in the book, many states and provinces have produced a lot of 200 class bucks. Canada being as far north as it is, and having lower populations, certainly is still poised to beat its current record.
Again looking at all the states that have produced 200 inch class bucks, it could come from anywhere. 13" inches may not be so hard to come by if some deer lucks out with a few years of good food, mild winters and some lucky bullet dodging!
There, we're all still in the hunt!
