Default .223 Remington

If you had a .223, would you shoot at a bull elk at 600 yards through the forest. Now, if it was walking away from you at 600 yards with it's tail up, would you take an a$$hole shot and hope to take out the lungs and heart. Now if you were shooting a 50 grain bullet would you take that shot. If you had a mini, how many times would you shoot at him in a row to ethically kill him.
In other words, can we please get off of this .223 subject, we all disagree, and if you want to use one, I'm not going to stop you, so don't ask nor worry about my opinion.

Hi splitear,
If you don't want to read about deer and a 223, or see people debate it's ethical/practical uses. click on another subject.
That was not intended to be mean, I'm just saying that I enjoy reading the opinions of the folks on here whether its about the 223 for deer or which is better the 7mag,270 or 30-06, or if the 270 is enough for elk.

You seem to be the one obsessed with the .223 so let it go.
